Wyatt Duncan has dedicated over 17 years of service to Lea County, beginning his career with the City of Lovington, where he held the role of Public Works Director before joining the County in 2021. As the current Lea County Fairgrounds Director, Wyatt brings a wealth of experience and commitment to community development.
An active leader in the Lovington Economic Development Corporation (EDC), Wyatt is also a graduate of the Maddox Leadership Institute (Class of 2018) and Leadership New Mexico Connect Program (Class of 2020). His dedication extends beyond his professional responsibilities, as he volunteers with local 4-H and FFA groups, supporting youth development in agriculture.
Wyatt and his wife, Tara, reside on a 10-acre farm with their three children, where they care for a diverse array of animals. In his free time, Wyatt enjoys outdoor activities, including camping and hunting, and is a competitive BBQ enthusiast, known for his award-winning BBQ skills.
